Staying out of the share
Interviews.Chat's FAQ says its copilot is safe because it "doesn't join the meeting or notify anyone". That is true of any app, and it does not cover the cases that matter: being asked to share your whole screen, or a platform that watches which tab is active. The copilot runs in its own browser tab, so you would switch to it to read an answer.

Solvro runs outside the browser and sets the operating system's content-protection flag, which excludes its window from screen capture and recording. There is no tab to switch to.
Check the rules first
Most employers and assessment platforms prohibit outside help in their terms. Solvro keeps its window out of screen captures, but no tool can promise it will never be noticed, and breaking those rules can cost you an offer. Decide for yourself whether that risk is worth taking.
Live interview copilot

Interviews.Chat shows two answer formats at once, each from a different model, with controls for text size, layout and listening mode. It is flexible, but there is a lot to look at mid-interview, and in automatic mode it can struggle to tell when the interviewer has finished a question.
Solvro gives you one structured answer per question, shaped by the custom instructions you set beforehand (for example, "one-line answer, then STAR bullets"). Interview mode detects each question and answers it, using your resume and the job description.
Coding copilot

In Interviews.Chat you share the tab with the problem, click the eye icon to capture, then upload. Because the AI and the problem are in different tabs, you switch back and forth while writing code.
In Solvro, CtrlShiftS captures whatever is on screen (press again for each extra page, up to 20) and CtrlEnter sends it. The answer appears in a window over the editor with the approach, complexity and code, and CtrlShiftT can type it in with human timing.

Platforms and models

Interviews.Chat lists Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Its copilot offers three models without naming versions, plus two more in mock interviews only.

Solvro runs beside any meeting app or assessment platform and names its models: Gemini 3.7 Flash, Gemini 3.1 Pro, Claude Sonnet 5, Claude Opus 5 and Claude Fable 5.
Credits vs subscription
Interviews.Chat is credit-based, and credits are spent per action, not per question. Regenerating an answer, viewing a second model's answer or a second format each costs another credit.

| Booster | $29 a month | 1,000 a month; 1 per answer |
| Pro (quarterly) | $23 a month | 1,000 a month; 1 per answer |
Solvro's plans have no per-answer charge:

Our verdict
For most candidates, Solvro is the better choice, because it keeps the live moment simple.
- One structured answer shaped by your own instructions, instead of answer formats to choose between mid-question.
- A subscription or a $24 week pass, not a credit for every answer.
- Hotkey capture of any part of the screen, up to 20 per question, without sharing a tab.
Interviews.Chat may still suit you if your interview is in a language other than English; it supports 32.
