Three modes, three different risks

InterviewMan offers three ways to use it:
- Desktop app. Runs outside the browser and markets more than 20 stealth methods, including WebRTC leak blocking and a masked process name.
- Second device. Answers appear on a phone or tablet. Glancing away to another screen is easy for an interviewer to notice.
- Tab sharing. You share the interview tab with InterviewMan's web app. If you are asked to share your whole screen, or the platform watches the active tab, this mode shows.

Solvro has one way to run: as a desktop window beside the call. It sets the operating system's content-protection flag, which excludes the window from screen capture and recording, and it is driven by shortcuts you choose.

Check the rules first
Most employers and assessment platforms prohibit outside help in their terms. Solvro keeps its window out of screen captures, but no tool can promise it will never be noticed, and breaking those rules can cost you an offer. Decide for yourself whether that risk is worth taking.
Getting answers
In InterviewMan you press Assist (or its shortcut) to get each answer. That is one more thing to do while you are listening. Solvro's Interview mode transcribes the conversation and answers each question as soon as it is asked, using your resume, the job description and your instructions. Answers come in seconds; the Gemini models are fastest and Claude Opus 5 and Fable 5 go deeper.
Coding and technical rounds
Both tools help with coding questions. Solvro's Coding Test mode is built for them: CtrlShiftS captures each screen of a problem (up to 20), CtrlEnter sends them together, and you get the approach, complexity and code in over 10 languages. CtrlShiftT then types the solution with human timing, and CtrlShiftY resumes from where it stopped if you interrupt it.
Transparency about models
InterviewMan does not say which models generate its answers. Solvro names them: Gemini 3.7 Flash, Gemini 3.1 Pro, Claude Sonnet 5, Claude Opus 5 and Claude Fable 5. You switch with CtrlShiftM, and every plan lists what it includes.
Pricing and trials

InterviewMan has two plans: $30 a month, or $12 a month billed yearly ($144). The free trial is 20 minutes. You can cancel, but fees for unused months are not refunded, so the cheap yearly plan is a full-year commitment.
Solvro has monthly, quarterly and yearly plans, plus a $24 pass for one interview week:
| Plan | Price | Billing | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | $29/mo | Billed monthly ($29). | Gemini models, every mode except Interview |
| Pro (quarterly) | $19/mo | $57 billed every 3 months. | Same as Pro monthly |
| Pro+ | $49/mo | Billed monthly. | All five models, all four modes including Interview |
| Pro+ (quarterly) | $39/mo | $117 billed every 3 months. | Same as Pro+ monthly |

Prices in USD; customers in India are charged the rupee equivalent. Full details on the pricing section.
Our verdict
For most candidates, and especially for technical roles, Solvro is the better choice.
- Answers arrive automatically as each question is asked; there is no Assist button to press.
- Coding Test mode with up to 20 screenshots per question and auto-typing.
- Named models you choose: Gemini 3.7 Flash, Gemini 3.1 Pro, Claude Sonnet 5, Claude Opus 5 and Claude Fable 5.
- Monthly, quarterly and yearly plans plus a $24 week pass, so you are not tied to a year.
InterviewMan may still suit you if you are certain you will interview all year on a tight budget, or need a phone app or another language.
Competitor plans, prices and features are summarised from public product pages and reviews and change often; check each vendor’s own site before you buy. Product names are trademarks of their owners. Solvro is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
